When 3 mastermind architects met together Butterfly Chair was crafted. Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan, and Jorge Ferrari-Hordoy – these 3 architects of the firm Grupo Austral from Buenos Aires met each other in the Paris studio of Le Corbusier and the masterpiece took its birth. Also known as the B.K.F Chair, the design took its inspiration from British craftsmanship – the Tripolina Chair. Manufactured in the year 1938, this chair gained utter success in the furniture market from 1940 after a furniture exhibition at Buenos Aires.
