DELUSIONS- Believing in something, which is not possible or is not real. Eg: believing that people are against him/her, believing that they are being controlled by external powers.
DISORGANIZED THOUGHTS- People with schizophrenia often have hard time organizing their thoughts.
DISORGANIZED SPEECH- This happens because of disorganized thoughts.
Treatment includes:
Medications: These are the primary mode of treatment for schizophrenia. They regulate the levels of dopamine, serotonin and glutamate in our brain and help in relieving the symptoms.
