Noida,13th Oct. 2023: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in collaboration with the Consulate of Liberland in India, proudly unveiled the inaugural Film and Cultural Forum of Liberland in India. This momentous event took place on the auspicious occasion of National Cinema Day at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

The event commenced with a captivating poster launching ceremony graced by the esteemed presence of His Excellency Vit Jedicka, the President of the Republic of Liberland. The ceremony saw enthusiastic participation from professionals and students belonging to the film, television, and media fraternities.

In his address as the Chief Guest of the function, His Excellency Vit Jedicka emphasized the importance of cultural ties in fostering development and promoting relations between nations. He applauded the initiative and expressed optimism about the collaborative potential between Liberland and India.

Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chancellor of AAFT University, also expressed his excitement at the inauguration of the new forum. He recognized this milestone as a significant addition to the accomplishments of the institution.

Among the dignitaries present were Samuel Davidova, Consul for Georgia; His Excellency Arthur Yakubovsky, Ambassador of Liberland at UAE; and Syed Algazi, Honorary Consul of Liberland in India. Their presence further elevated the prestige of this significant event.

The Indo Liberland Film and Cultural Forum is poised to be a crucial platform for cultural exchange, fostering collaboration and synergy between the two nations. It promises to facilitate a rich tapestry of artistic and cultural exchange, propelling bilateral relations to new heights.
