The Investiture Ceremony at Saviors Global School, Kharghar, was held on August 3, 2024, marking a momentous occasion for the school community. The event was honoured by the presence of Guest of honour Commander (Retd) VK. Verma, Director Swati Mukherjee ma'am, and Head Mistress Susmitha Ganguly ma'am, whose arrival added a special significance to the ceremony.
The program began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the start of a new era of leadership. This was followed by a warm welcome extended to the chief guest, parents, teachers, and students who all participated in the ceremony. The highlight of the event was the induction of the newly elected student council members from the four houses—Ardent, Brave, Courage, and Devotion. The positions of School Captain, Head Boy, Head Girl, Cultural Secretary, Discipline Captain, and Sports Captain were eagerly anticipated. The elected representatives were excited to receive their badges and sashes, signifying their new roles and responsibilities. Each of the elected leaders was formally presented with their badge and sash, followed by a solemn oath-taking ceremony. This moment underscored their commitment to fulfilling their roles with dedication and integrity, ensuring the smooth functioning of the school. Our Guest of honour Commander (Retd) VK. Verma commenced his address by warmly congratulating the student council members on their new roles and responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of hardwork and dedication in achieving their goals. Our Director Swati Mukherjee Mam delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of positive change and leadership within the school community. Her address was a call to action for the new leaders to strive for excellence and contribute meaningfully to the school environment.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants and contributors who made the event a success.
